We have a number of touch screen computers and tablets for use by our Members. Headphones are available to minimize disruption to other users and tables are adjustable for height to accommodate wheelchair users.
In the Odell garden there is a polytunnel where Members grow their own flowers and vegetables. There are also raised beds, vegetable plots and a Pergola with seats and a table for outdoor activities, weather permitting.
A fully equipped woodwork room is available where Members can make items that they can give to family and friends or can be used in the Centre by other Members.
Our pamper room is a fully equipped space where Members can enjoy having their hair done, having manicures or pedicures and using the foot spa.
Thursday is music and dancing afternoon. Our regular D.J.s get everyone on the floor for that Disco moment.
For those wanting to make music we have bell ringing using a system of colours for notes ensuring that everyone can enjoy taking part.
Fitness classes are held throughout the week. Sessions are rotated to ensure that Members attending on each day have the opportunity to try different classes within their ability level - these include Dance for Wellbeing and Country Dancing.
Our very talented artists create wonderful art display boards throughout the Centre.
Various craft sessions run every day including sewing, knitting, card making and jewellery making. Flower arrangements are also made when flowers are available throughout the year and we pride ourselves on our arrangements for special occasions Costumes and scenery for all our performances are made in the Centre by our Members.
The Centre is equipped with many indoor games - snooker, air hockey, table football, pin ball machine. Daily competitions are a regular feature.
Our big screen and projector allow us to show films from time to time at the request of Members. We have lots of DVDs to choose from and are continuing to add to our collection.
We pride ourselves on our own drama productions which take many months of rehearsal and preparation. Many Members become involved not only as actors but behind the scenes making props and costumes.
The Members have enjoyed preparing for and taking part in the annual Open Stage Concert.
Baking sessions are every week where members bake various types of sponge which they can take home.
Every year they make The Odell Centre cake for the raffle.
We have a full size portable skittle alley and synthetic curling rink.
